RNLI (Sales) Ltd, the retail and mail order trading arm of the leading UK charity, has re-launched its popular gift catalogue to their loyal supporters with a new fulfilment crew from Prism DM onboard.
Clare McDermott, who has recently joined the RNLI as Head of Sales said “Prism DM were appointed following a rigorous competitive process as they were best able to demonstrate to our team the level of management experience, systems features and stability, customer care values and sheer enthusiasm for our business that we were looking for. The implementation of every area has been extremely smooth, and initial results are very encouraging.”
Prism DM has also built a new transactional site for RNLI sales. The site, which has been designed by Proximity London, was delivered to an extremely tight timescale. Proximity London provided Prism DM with all the templates and design assets needed to build the site www.rnlishop.org.uk
Mike Thom, Managing Director of Prism DM said “We are determined to demonstrate to the RNLI that outsourcing fulfilment is still the best policy. We are happy to take on the challenge. We share the same values and standards, and our team are delighted to be working with such a charity.”
David Price, RNLI Project Manager, adds “we were pleased to place our website with Prism as well; all integration issues just disappeared, and we were able to implement our new design in record time with the vast majority of our future wish list of features in place, based on proven Prism e-commerce functionality.”
Special attention has been paid by the RNLI to the training of Prism’s customer service team, which included an induction visit to the RNLI Lifeboat College at Poole, Dorset. Mike Thom concludes “Although it is early days in our business relationship, we seem to have got off to a great start, and we look forward to contributing to the renewed success of the charity’s sales activities in the years to come.” |
